Hours: 37.5 per week Location: Peace Hospice, Watford Salary: £29,970 per annumClosing Date: 13 January 2025 at middayInterview Date: 20 January 2025About the role:Deliver high quality Specialist Palliative and end of Life nursing care as part of the in-patient unit and multidisciplinary team.Main duties and responsibilities: You'll be responsible for:Leading on and coordinating assessment, planning and evaluation of individualised patient centred care.
Ensuring a holistic approach that is sensitive and responsive to the patients ever changing needs.Maintaining a respectful non-judgemental and caring attitude ensuring the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice vision and philosophy of care is integral to the care delivered and role undertaken.The coordination and smooth running of a shift ensuring it is well organised and staff and patients are safe. Acting as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community.At Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care, we're all about making every moment for our patients and families, and you can play part in that.
We will support people of all ages who are affected by a progressive life-limiting illness and those who care for them, to live as well as possible by providing choice and ease access to a wide range of palliative care and bereavement services across West Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
We provide care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life limiting illness, and their families, visiting day and night.
