Job summary We require current NMC Registration Supporting and assisting Clinicians in a variety of Surgical Clinics, over two areas within the hospital.
This will involve different surgical specialties, and Oncology Clinics.
Main duties of the job The main role of the post is to prepare and oversee clinics, this will involve ensuring they are running efficiently, using the resources available, supporting clinicians and anticipating their requirements.Having responsible for HCA's in the clinical areas, and supporting them whilst on duty.Ensuring the patients are cared for to the highest standards, which are underpinned by the Trusts Values and Behaviors About us Our Vision is to bea well-led organization delivering compassionate and safe patient care through an engaged and motivated workforceOutpatients is one of our main front doors and is often the only part of the Trust that patients and visitors get to see - so it is vitally important these services are right and we give a good impression as we deliver a high quality efficient and effective service.

Job description Job responsibilities The main role of the post is to prepare and oversee clinics, this will involve ensuring they are running efficiently, using the resources available, supporting clinicians and anticipating their requirements.Having responsible for HCA's in the clinical areas, and supporting them whilst on duty.Ensuring the patients are cared for to the highest standards, which are underpinned by the Trusts Values and Behaviors.We are responsible for ensuring all our patients are appraised of any further treatments or and investigations and ensure they are well informed about each step Person Specification Education and qualifications Essential Registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Desirable Undertaken mentorship training Experience and knowledge Essential Relevant experience of looking after patients in a healthcare environment Desirable Previous NHS experience within last 12 months Previous experience within an Acute setting Broad clinical knowledge base Skills, abilities and competencies Essential Ability to work as part of a team Compassionate Confident and calm attitude with the ability to work under pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills Good organisational and team building skills IT skills Accurate document presentation and attention to detail Punctual and reliable Motivated and enthusiastic, shows initiative Behavioural qualities Essential Courteous and Respectful Kind and Helpful Responsive Communication Effective and Professional
