Staff Nurse

We are looking for a band 6 nurse to join our team at Mull and Iona Community Hospital.The post holder must have A&E experience or relevant experience in acute clinical assessment and minor injuries.
The post holder must also have general ward experience and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of working closely within an integrated team.The post holder should be able to provide guidance and leadership to staff in the monitoring, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised care.
The hospital serves the community of the Isle of Mull and Iona.
There are 3 GP Acute inpatient beds and include the provision of end of life care.
There is also a community casualty department for all emergencies as well as minor injuries and the hospital is the centre for out of hours care referred through NHS24.We are a small team of nurses and Health care assistants and as Nurse on duty you will be working as a lone worker in charge of the clinical shift, supported by the GP on duty.Short-listed applicants will be contacted by email.
