An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 nurse within the Endoscopy Unit at RAH.
This is a busy department situated within the Day Surgery Unit.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, the Post Holder will provide specialist care to Endoscopy patients attending for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The successful candidate will require to work in both Day Surgery and Endoscopy as these teams work closely together to provide patient centred care.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, motivated and have an interest of working in the endoscopy environment.
Previous experience in this area is a desirable but not essential.
We offer a professional development programme and excellent team support.
The successful candidates are required to demonstrate flexibility by working within a service, which runs over a 5 day week.

However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
