Staff Bioinformatics Engineer

I have partnered with a global Oncology Biotech, transforming the way the world prevents, detects, and treats cancer with a fantastic role for a seasoned Software, Cloud and Bioinformatics Engineer.

As a Staff Bioinformatics Engineer (AD level), you'll plan, lead and execute innovative projects, design advanced cloud-based software, and develop tools for analysing NGS data.
You'll mentor team members and contribute to groundbreaking cancer diagnostics, in a purpose-driven team that values leadership and collaboration at all levels.

Key Skills MSc in related field or BSc with additional years of experience in lieu.
8+ years' experience in Software Development.
6+ years' experience working within a cloud computing environment - Deploying and operating cloud computing infrastructure – AWS CDK strongly preferred.
Demonstrated fluency in Python, additional languages welcome.
Advanced knowledge of automated software testing (unit, integration, system) and code performance optimisation.
A keen interest in developing scientific software.
