Sr Workplace Health And Safety Manager, Workplace Health

Experienced Health & Safety Manager to manage health and safety within Amazon Fulfillment Centre, identifying improvements in safety, quality, and productivity, and working with Operations Management teams to improve functionality and service to customers.
You will manage aspects of output in your area, including people management, metrics, productivity targets, and process improvements.
Key responsibilities include: Managing health and safety function at the FC, supervising staff to ensure delivery of objectives.
Engaging in collaborative health and safety projects across all operations sites.
Providing authoritative advice and guidance on health & safety matters to all stakeholders.
Reviewing and auditing health and safety management arrangements and continuously improving them.
Providing strategies to plan and organise work systems to reduce health & safety risks.
Ensuring robust reporting regimes are in place for Health and Safety metrics.
Providing management information and statistics related to your area of responsibility.
Supporting business change through effective change management processes.
Driving behavioural culture change programme across a large, complex, multi shift operation.
Implementation and review of company global safety policies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level.
Relevant experience managing a team.
Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Lean, 5S and Kaizen experience.
Environmental qualification/experience an advantage.
