The International Security team is responsible for driving innovative enhancements that raise the bar for how AWS employees deliver security of the cloud to support customer-facing engagements.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) with our team, you'll influence and own long-term security outcomes for AWS.
You'll be working for government and regulated industries to understand their needs.
You'll be able to design security systems and solutions that enable them to operate more effectively, securely, and safely.
You will work with your manager, peers, partners, and customers to innovate and deliver on the vision and purpose of your programs.
We encourage team members and management alike to have a high degree of ownership for their program vision and execution of ideas.
While working directly with AWS service teams, infrastructure, and administrative teams you'll identify opportunities to improve AWS' project security posture.
This will include building tools, driving process improvements, and working with service owners and cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
You prioritize well, communicate clearly, and demonstrate a consistent track record of delivery.
You are proactive in removing roadblocks, pave the way for innovation, and can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will be a positive influencer across diverse international teams, be able to effectively rally support for your initiatives, and be able to help deeply technical teams create simple solutions to meet your program goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSTechnical leadership roles; technical program management, systems architecture, or system developmentExperience in core project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management, on highly technical initiativesExperience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSComfort and experience with cross-organizational communication; excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven experience driving overall strategy and teams across organizationsDemonstrated experience identifying and resolving down-stream programmatic risks (i.e.
