The Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) Delivery team is lookingfor an analytically-minded and driven individual to help optimizethe delivery strategy for Amazon's Global Grocery Deliveryprograms.
AGL supports the operations and supply chain for AmazonFresh, Whole Foods, Grocery Partnerships and other Worldwidedelivery businesses.
AGL has future plans for ground-breakingcustomer offerings to dramatically improve customer experience anddelivery partner experience to create a best-in-class deliveryprogram.
This position will serve as thesingle threaded leader for developing and executing deliverystrategy for the UK Grocery Partners (GP) network.
The Sr.ProgramManager will be responsible for driving initiatives to improve CostPer Delivery (CPD), on time deliveries, and first time deliverysuccess rates across more than 120 delivery stations within the UK.To be successful and deliver on the goals within each of theseareas of focus, the Sr.
Program Manager will need to conduct andpresent complex analysis to influence and gain alignment fromcross-functional stakeholders.
In addition to delivering on thesegoals, the Sr.
Program Manager will need to be a Subject MatterExpert (SME) in the end-to-end AGL delivery processes to assistpartner teams in shaping product roadmaps, prioritizing initiativesand advising on critical considerations within the Grocery deliveryspace.
The Sr.
Program Manager will beresponsible for providing complex last-mile research for strategicdecisions in managing delivery performance metrics.
This willinclude deep diving underlying metric and tech tool performance tocontinually uncover opportunities for optimization and drivesdata-based solutions within the end-to-end delivery and technicalprocesses.
It is imperative that the Sr.
Program Managerproactively seeks opportunities for further performanceoptimization, quantifies the business opportunities, and leadsworking groups to effectively generate potential solutions.
Due tothe varying skill and exposure levels in their partner teams, it isimportant for the Sr.
Program Manager to possess a deepunderstanding of the subject, frame potential solutions effectivelyand build trust with stakeholders to drive improvements in keyperformance metrics.
Key jobresponsibilities 1) Be able to access and analyze complexdata sets to drive effective decision making 2) Fosterstrong relationships with partner teams to gain buy- in on criticalstrategic decisions 3) Communicate clearly and conciselywith leadership up to L8 level to explain performance trends,actions, and reasoning for business decisions.
4) Be ableto operate with limited levels of support and have a strong abilityto drive results autonomously whennecessary BASIC QUALIFICATIONS -Experience using data and metrics to determine and driveimprovements - Experience owning program strategy, end toend delivery, and communicating results to seniorleadership - Experience in program or projectmanagement PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources,adult education, organizational development, instructional designor related field - Experience leading processimprovements Amazon is an equal opportunitiesemployer.
