As a Program Manager in AMZL (Amazon Logistics) Sustainability, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing new and disruptive ways to reduce carbon emissions and to improve sustainability based on our strategy and vision. This role is inherently cross-functional, so you'll work closely with operations, tech, finance, and deployment teams to identify and implement customer experience, sustainability, and cost-saving improvements. You will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a complex matrix organization, adept at synthesizing information into improvement plans and confident delivering at scale.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesLeads and controls the roadmap of the assigned program. Possesses a broad operations and technical background, and has the ability to "roll up their sleeves" and drive resolution.Comfortable in different roles, sometimes supporting, sometimes leading.Capable of taking accountability and driving planning, resolution, and execution.Responsible for delivering the key metrics – program performance, program growth, on-time execution, and launches.Work closely with Product teams to understand product fit with EU marketplaces and/or customer expectations, identify potential benefits for the business, and prioritize projects within the roadmap.Develop and execute weekly and monthly action plans to deliver programs as per the roadmap.Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management using common knowledge platforms.Drive best practices with a focus on outcomes for our customers.
