Description: MMC is seeking candidate for SQL Server Database Administrator to work from Birmingham or Bristol office on a hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in officeSQL Server Database Administrator This position is for an established and productive professional individual contributor in Information Technology, who works independently with minimal supervision.
We are a large team who together, across the AUS, UK, Canada & US are responsible for significant databases & project related to our Oracle environment.

A hybrid work environment that includes 3 days in office and 2 days work from home.
We will count on you to:Work independently with least supervisionWork closely with offshore team to ensure smooth transition of work handover if requiredResolve configuration/performance issues.
Have a good understanding of active-active cluster and DR Failover knowledge.Be flexible on working hours as role is part of the On-call rotation over the weekend.What you need to have: Previous DBA experience working with SQL Server versions 2016 and above.
Experience in Installation and configuration of SQL server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS of SQL Version 2016 and higherInvolvement in making recommendations involving capacity planningPlanning for backup and recovery of databasesConfigure LogShipping, Mirroring, ClusteringHands on experience with Implementation of TDE.
