Job Title: Senior Splunk Product Engineer/Developer (Observability Platform) x 3 Location: Full Remote Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3 months initial (with potential for extension) About the Role: Our client is looking for experienced Splunk Product Engineers/Developers to assist in building a new internal CIS Observability platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and implementing a next-generation platform to onboard multiple clients, leveraging Splunk Observability (NOT the SIEM product).

You will be responsible for building a framework to seamlessly integrate and import Configuration Items (CIs), enabling a shift from event-based correlation to Adaptive Thresholds and predictive analysis.
As part of this, you will help design and implement best practices for platform setup and rollout, guiding the team through the process of building and optimizing the platform, educating them for an initial Proof of Concept (POC) and client onboarding.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize the framework to import CIs and support multiple client onboardings.
Guide the transition from event-based ticketing systems to adaptive thresholds for predictive analysis.
Provide technical expertise on Splunk Observability, focusing on key features that integrate with internal operations (SIEM experience is not necessary).
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement best practices for platform setup and rollout.
Work closely with internal teams to help educate them on the new platform, including for initial client onboarding.
Ensure the platform is scalable, flexible, and optimized for current and future client needs.
Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience with Splunk Observability (technical expertise is essential).
Hands-on experience importing and managing Configuration Items (CIs) within Splunk.
Strong understanding of the shift from event correlation to adaptive thresholds and predictive analysis .
Experience in building and implementing frameworks for multi-client onboarding .
In-depth knowledge of Splunk product features , particularly in relation to Observability (we do not use the SIEM product).
Ability to provide guidance and educate teams on new processes and platform capabilities.
Previous experience working on Observability platforms and supporting internal development and implementation efforts.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Additional Information: No security clearance required.
Fully remote role with flexible working hours.
We are looking to start ASAP for the 1-month contract and by 6th January for the longer-term roles.
The initial contract duration is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension.
