The school is conveniently located within a 30-minute commute from Birmingham, Telford, and Stafford, and is easily accessible via the M6 and M54 motorways.Key Responsibilities: As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will: Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning and communication goals.
Provide training and resources for staff to ensure the integration of therapy goals into the classroom.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
Criteria A registered member of RCSLT and HCPC.
Must hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.
2 Years post graduate experience working as a Speech & Language Therapist.
Experience of working with Children & Young people with learning disabilities.
Experience of working with Children with an ASC Experience of delivering provision through EHCP Process.
Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience working with children and young people with ASD, learning disabilities, and additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
