Job summary Speech & Language Therapy - Adults - Band 5 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Speech and Language Therapist wishing to develop their skills within the adult population of North Cumbria .
You will be supported with ongoing training .
This team works to deliver high quality Speech and Language Therapy provision across acute and community settings linking in with ESSDT and ICCs.
Given the semi-rural nature of this region, telemedicine has been used for some time and is well established as mode of therapy delivery.
We also have a well-established award winning Speech After Stroke Service providing ongoing support in the community This post will primarily be based at Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle but there will be a requirement to travel around North Cumbria to provide a service into the community and other inpatient sites.
The North Cumbria Speech and Language Therapy team is a small, friendly, supportive team with good opportunities for ongoing training.
We have a well-developed supervision and peer support system in place.
