Job role : Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist Salary : £29,969 to £52,809 (full time) Job type : Full or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) Location : Epping, Loughton and Chigwell areas (inc. some Harlow) Start date : ASAP Sponsorship is not available for this role.

All About You Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy Experience working as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, particularly with children and young people with SEND Strong understanding of communication difficulties related to developmental disorders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with children, families, and educational staff Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Organisational skills to manage a varied caseload across multiple locations Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car for work, as the role involves travelling between different schools Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of children, families, and schools What Will You Be Doing?
Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, predominantly within school settings Collaborating with families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to support children with SEND Providing training and support to educational staff to implement communication-friendly practices in schools Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to improve communication skills for children with SEND Monitoring progress, adjusting therapy plans, and keeping thorough records Travelling between school locations to manage your caseload, with a car required for efficient travel Attending meetings, such as case reviews, and contributing to reports on the children's progress Reaching Your Potential As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, you will have access to continuous learning opportunities through CPD, regular supervision, and support from an experienced team.
