Job summary NHSP are looking for a Speech andLanguage Therapist with the required clinical knowledge and skills to workindependently with patients, many of whom have complex communication andswallowing difficulties.
A minimum of 18 months experience with adults with acquiredneurological disorders is essential.
Experience of community working ispreferred.
The friendly team is based inWoking Community Hospital and works across the Northwest Surrey area treatingadults with acquired neurological conditions such as stroke, motor neuronedisease, Parkinsons disease and dementia.
Patients are seen in a variety oflocations including outpatient clinics, community ward and domiciliarysettings.
There is also a community outpatient FEES service.
Ideally, we are looking for aSpeech and Language Therapist to see patients in domiciliary or outpatientsettings, so a car driver is desirable, but the base is located a short walkfrom Woking train station which is on the mainline to/from London.
The team canalso consider hybrid working with follow up telehealth appointments.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential What youll need: Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent Experience working with adults Licence to Practice Registered with HCPC The successful candidate will need to be competent and confidant in preparing and using electronic information.
The post holder needs to have up to date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft outlook and word.
A knowledge and /or experience of using RIO patient held record system would be of benefit.
