Job summary The BHFT CYPIT service is an integrated Childrens Therapyservice, shaped around the needs of the child and family.
We are structured within integrated teams,based around a locality area of Berkshire, and work closely together whereappropriate, to ensure we have the greatest therapeutic impact, working eitherdirectly or through other people.

We are structuredwithin integrated teams, based around a locality area of Berkshire, and workclosely together where appropriate, to ensure we have the greatest therapeuticimpact, working either directly or through other people.
Working in our mainstream school team you will be responsible for theplanning and management of your own caseload and interventions working withinour impact based model of support.
As part of this you will be supported todevelop and enhance your specialist skills working with children and youngpeople (CYP) with speech, language and communication needs.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent Registered with HCPC Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience An understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people Car for community work Desirable Ability to demonstrate required clinical knowledge of up to date speech and language interventions and service issues
