Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT)

MLK Search are seeking an experience Speech and Langauge Therapist to join a brand new ASC school.
Purpose of the Role: • Work collaboratively with key colleagues to maximise progress.
• Work therapeutically on a one to one basis, supporting a small group, or with a whole class
• As well as offering therapy sessions, you will have a therapeutic presence across two schools, supporting both Primary and Secondary students.
• Leading staff training and development to ensure the truly integrated therapy and learning provision is maintained.
• Offer therapeutic interventions that aid children's emotional wellbeing and learning.
Core Responsibilities: • To plan, resource and prepare effective and engaging therapy programmes for children
• To liaise professionally with colleagues as appropriate
• To build positive working relationships with children's families • To ensure children responsible for are supervised and safe at all times
• To plan, lead and deliver whole-staff therapeutic training
Essential and Desirable Requirements: • Degree level, fully qualified and registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Successful experience of working with children and young people in challenging contexts
• High level of competence in both English and maths
• Further relevant training or qualifications would be highly desirable
