Job Type : Full time Job Location : Basildon School Setting : Special School Contract Type : Temporary to Permanent REF : SENDIRECT/191649 Rate : £20-£25 per hour Hours : 8:30 – 15:30 Start Date : Immediately   SENDirect is proud to partner with a dedicated Special Needs School in Basildon that provides a nurturing environment for children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN).
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join the multidisciplinary team, supporting students in achieving their full potential through tailored therapy and intervention.
  Key Responsibilities : Conduct assessments and implement individualized therapy plans.
Provide direct therapy in 1:1 and group settings.
Collaborate with teachers and professionals to support learning.
Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies.
Liaise with parents and caregivers for holistic support.
Qualifications and Experience : Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (HCPC registered).
Experience with children with SLCN, ideally in a school setting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
