Job overview We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band Specialist CAMHS Practitioners to join our Neurodevelopmental Team.
We currently have one full time post.This exciting post will be predominantly clinical work with additional time for leadership.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Team Manager and Clinical Lead to support the team, provide some referral management and help to oversee the pathways, ensuring we are providing the highest quality patient care.
This will be an opportunity for someone who has had some leadership experience but who wants to develop further skills whilst continuing to work clinically.We are a multidisciplinary team who work with young people with a diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability and provide assessment and treatment for Autism and ADHD.
The team provides mental health assessments for young people with a neurodevelopmental disorder and also psychological therapies for co-morbid mental health disorders.
The Neurodevelopmental Team are committed to a high level of patient care and the ideal candidate will have a strong team and work ethic, sense of accountability, interest in service development, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times.

Main duties of the job To provide an evidence-based therapy service to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in the Neurodevelopmental Service CAMHS which is part of the Children, Young People and Families Directorate in CPFT.Patients will be managed on a community basis; providing assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and/or comorbid mental health disorder and evidence-based therapy.At the same time as offering advice and consultation on patient's mental health care to colleagues and partner agencies and to other non-professional carers.To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's and Trust's policies and procedures.
