This fixed term post for 2years (potential to extend) will have a vital role in ensuring our patients receivethe care that they need and will work within the Psychiatry pathway.
Thesuccessful applicant will receive close supervision from sector consultantpsychiatrists and allocated clinical supervisor.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
Desirable Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
MRCPsych.
Physical Attributes Essential Smart professional appearance.
Transport Desirable Holds and will use valid UK driving licence OR provides evidence of proposed alternative.
Experience Essential Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise or be in a position to have a licence to practice on commencement in the post.
Spent a minimum of four years (full time or equivalent) in postgraduate training in the UK or equivalent medical experience, of which at least 2 years in psychiatry.
AT least 6 month experience in CAMHS psychiatry.
Desirable In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 6 months of appointment.
Experience of working in NHS and CAMHS.
Academic Skills & Lifelong Learning Essential Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training.
Participate in continuous professional development.
Participate in research or service evaluation.
Able to use and appraise clinical evidence.
Has actively participated in clinical audit.
Desirable Able to plan and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training relevant to this post.

Able to meet duties under MHA and MCA.

Desirable Wide range of CAMHS specialist experience relevant to post within NHS or comparable service.
