Job summary Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated Therapeutic Radiographers looking for a leadership position?
Then join us at the busy Kent Oncology Centre where we operate as one team across our two sites at Maidstone and are equipped with nine linacs including four Truebeams and two Halcyons.
HDR is delivered at Maidstone with treatment radiographers rotating through the service.
Consultant Palliative Radiographers and MacMillan specialists support the teams on both a Specialist Treatment Radiographer you will lead a team delivering a range of techniques including SABR, DIBH, VMAT and will possess a high level of expertise in advanced radiotherapy and have experience in training and mentoring Practice Educators are here to support your development.
Staff are encouraged to get involved in audit, teaching, research and development for which CPD funding is will be based at our purpose-built centre at Maidstone.

Operator, and referrer under IRMER Evidence of working at Masters Level Desirable Undertaken accredited academic development Experience/Knowledge Essential To have worked in a clinical environment.
Experience as a senior clinical radiotherapist Have worked within a multi-disciplinary team Previous supervisory experience Knowledge of the pre-treatment process Knowledge of National waiting times targets Desirable Knowledge of modern radiotherapy developments Skills Essential Good communication skills verbal and written Able to lead a team Ability to undertake roles within 'the extended role ' of the radiographer Able to operate as an autonomous practitioner Proven evidence of ability to undertake proactive image assessment and evaluation.
