An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Education Team.
Your role will be to provide high quality support for children with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex therapeutic, medical and health needs, placing their quality of life at the centre of what we do.
Under direction from the teacher, and with support from the class team, you will be responsible for the development and education of all pupils in your allocated classYou will be a natural and enthusiastic leader able to provide challenge and support to a high performing team.Role Requirements To support an integrated and holistic approach to education, health and care.To work under the direct supervision of an allocated teacherTo support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in learning opportunities.To assist the teacher in providing relevant support for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex therapeutic, medical and health needs.To provide a high standard of direct care, including personal careThis contract is for 48 weeks that the school is open If you would like to discuss the role, please contact the Recruitment & Compliance Team, on 01737 365 880 or email: Terms and ConditionsPLEASE NOTE: The Children's Trust Application Form MUST be completed and submitted, for your application to be considered.
