Main duties of the job This is an opportunity for a band 6 physiotherapist or a physiotherapist to move into a developmental post working as a band 6 or working from a Band 5 and developing into a Band 6 role.
It is your chance to make a real difference to people living with complex, enduring mental health conditions an acute inpatient setting.
You will be a skilled and knowledgeable team player who is able to think holistically and creatively to deliver specialist assessment and management and physiotherapy service provision for service users who have a variety of complex physiotherapy needs, diverse presentations and a range of mental health, alongside our multi-disciplinary team.
Alongside the clinical leads and other colleagues, you will contribute to the service development and implementation of evidence-based core pathways across community services whilst contributing to the inpatient team from this perspective.

Person Specification Education and Qualification Essential Recognised Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent.
State registration with HCPC.
Further relevant post qualifying training.
Desirable Registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Knowledge and Experience Essential Awareness and understanding of professional accountability, HCPC and CSP standards and other local and national initiatives Proven track record of post registration clinical experience relevant to the post.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team Experience of providing Physiotherapy services.
Awareness of equal opportunities legislation and policies Experience of collaborative working across agencies and professional disciplines.
Proven ability to manage a clinical caseload in a flexible manner as required.
