Randstad Student Support is currently recruiting Specialist one-on-one Study Skills Support Workers to support students with specific learning difficulties (SPLD) in the Lincoln area.
All successful candidates must be able to travel to the local University or college and offer both in person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences.
As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you will provide learning support and academic guidance.
This includes creating an individual learning plan that has been tailored to the student's needs and encourages them to become an independent learner.
As a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker, you are required to support students to:

Develop independenceBuild on strengths and learning strategiesCreate strategies around organisation and time managementCreate action plans to stay on track with studiesBuild on research skills - widening knowledge by using a variety of sourcesDistinguish appropriate sources and how to correctly use referencesBuild on comprehension skills within reading and writingWhilst working for Randstad the needs of individual students should be taken into consideration case by case and you should ensure that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
It is expected that you would act professionally and maintain confidentiality within your role at all times, sharing all relevant information with Randstad to ensure the best possible service to your students. Requirements for the role:
As this is a specialist role, you must hold membership with one of the below relevant professional bodies.
All students you will be supporting are funded by the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) meaning all candidates providing this role must adhere to the qualification framework set out by the DfE
