We have a rare opportunity to join the Cambian Group in a newly established multi site CAMHS children's residential home with educational provisions.  As a leader within our within our specialist mental health services your will be a major part in the transformation of delivery of service and our incredible children's experiences.
We are looking for a Specialist Mental Health Registered Manager to assist the Regional Manager in achieving the aims and objectives within the Statement of Purpose of the Children's High Dependency unit.

Develop a great team: Working with the recruitment teams support, bring in the right people for your home.
Complete company induction and personal development plans, retaining a strong team to ensure familiar faces for the young people.
Foster Consultation: Develop systems to consult young people about the care they receive.  Allocate Key Workers: Assign a Key Worker to each young person to implement their care plan.
Maintain High Standards: Establish and monitor high-quality care standards in line with the quality standards and the Home's Statement of Purpose.
Handle Complaints and Concerns: Take responsibility for addressing any complaints or child protection concerns.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of young people.
Participate in Meetings: Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings as appropriate.
Embrace a safe culture: Ensure the children in your service are cared for at the best possible standard.
  Essential Requirements and Experience • Relevant Experience: At least 2 years in a position related to residential care of children, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
• Qualifications: Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential.
Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred at point of application, if not then you must be enrolled on the Level 5 within 6 months of starting in post.  • Knowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Skills: Efficient in; planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
• Communication: Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
• Understanding Trauma: Knowledge of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, including managing challenging behaviour.
• Driving License: Full UK required.
