Position: Specialist Learning Support Assistant Location: Filey, North Yorkshire Hours: Full-time/Part-time options available Salary: Competitive rates, based on experience About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide one-on-one and group support to students with additional needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
This role requires patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting students with unique learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other specific learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities: Providing tailored support to students within the classroom environment Collaborating with teachers to create individualised learning plans Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students Engaging with parents, caregivers, and school staff to ensure effective support strategies Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working with SEN students Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people Strong communication and interpersonal skills Relevant qualifications in Education or SEN (preferred but not essential) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
