Job summary The Community Dental Service provides dental treatment for those patients who have difficulty in obtaining treatment from other services.
It provides a dental public health and treatment service acting in a complimentary way to the hospital and general practitioner services.
The provision of comprehensive oral health care for client groups in line with the Service's contractual requirements.
Main duties of the job To provide specialist care and advice to those adult groups we are commissioned to see following integrated care pathways and support colleagues to do likewise.
Support the Clinical Lead, Service Manager and Dental Team, in service development for all areas of post holder will be expected to cover 10 session per week that will be made up of; 1-2 GA's sessions, 1 admin session, 7-8 clinical sessions which may include general practice/DOMS/iv sedation.
