We provide a service across both acute and community settings and due to promotion have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, innovative dietitian looking to work in community settings.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work with colleagues delivering high quality care to patients requiring oral nutrition support and enteral feeding in their own homes, care facilities and the community hospital in Ripon.
There will also be the opportunity to work with the community team leader to deliver training on the nutrition support care pathway in care homes and other community teams.

Job description Job responsibilities Harrogate Nutrition and Dietetics service is an enthusiastic, empowered, inclusive team that supports and lives the Trust's values.
We welcome dietetic students on A, B and C placements largely from Leeds Beckett university and the successful post-holder will be expected to take part in pre-registration training.
To provide specialist dietetic advice, education and support to patients, carers and other health care professionals within the community setting.
This will include supporting the Home Enteral Nutrition Service and the Adult Undernutrition Care Pathway.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Recognised degree or post graduate qualification in Human Nutrition & Dietetics UK Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council for minimum of 1 year Member of the British Dietetic Association or other professional indemnity insurance Desirable Masters qualification Experience Essential Minimum 1 year post qualification dietetic experience in a healthcare setting Post graduate enteral nutrition experience Desirable Involvement in audit / research activities Experience of delivering presentations
