Job summary The post holder will be based atKnightshayes Clinic and will be line managed by the Consultant Psychiatristwithin the team.
They will be responsible for carrying a small caseload, wouldbe expected to support colleagues with complex cases and provide prescribingadvice.
Main duties of the job The post holder will be expectedto cover days at Devon Memory Service (DMS).
In the absence of seniorcolleagues the post holder will be responsible for leading team meetings.
Theywill also need to support with triaging new patients to the team.
As a prescriber in the team thepost holder will be expected to support in the prescribing needs of care homesand support in decision making for our new Post Diagnostic Follow Up (PDFU)Service.The post holder will monitor andlead improvements of standards of care through supervision of practice,clinical audit, implementation of evidence based practice, teaching and supportof colleagues and professional leadership.
