Job description Teaching Assistant for SEMH Provision Are you passionate about supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work at an SEMH school in Poulton-Le-Fylde.
This role involves working closely with students who require additional support in their educational journey.
These students will present with various additional needs, including ADHD and autism.
Resilience is a vital skill for this role.
Role Overview: Position: Teaching Assistant (SEMH) Location: Poulton-Le-Fylde Contract Type: Full Time Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 P/D Working Hours: (Apply online only) As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, adapting materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Individualised Support: Work closely with students, understanding their unique needs, and providing targeted assistance during class activities.
Behaviour Management: Implement behaviour management strategies, promoting positive interactions and emotional regulation.
Small Group Work: Facilitate small group sessions, reinforcing learning objectives and building students confidence.
Collaborate with Staff: Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to student development.


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
