About Us Located in Bolton BL2, our specialist secondary school dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment for young people with complex learning needs including Autism, Global Development Delays, MLD, PMLD (profound and multiple learning disabilities) and other SEN. Your Role As a SEN Teacher, you'll be the creative force behind sensory-led, activity-based lessons.
This is not a "one-size-fits-all" classroom—it's a space where themes come alive, where learning is experienced through all the senses, and where every achievement is celebrated.
Your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering immersive, sensory-rich lessons that cater to individual abilities and needs.
Using a thematic approach to make learning engaging, meaningful, and memorable.
Collaborating closely with dedicated teaching assistants, therapists, and families to create holistic learning plans.
Building strong relationships with pupils to foster trust, confidence, and a love for learning.
Monitoring progress, celebrating successes, and continuously adapting to best support each learner.
About You We're looking for someone who can bring both heart and innovation to this role.
You'll need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
A creative mindset with a passion for sensory and activity-based learning.
