Urgently seeking an experienced SEN tutor with good availability who can provide support in Ashford.

The role: Bright Heart Education's tuition agency (an employment business) seeks an experienced SEN tutor with excellent written and spoken English who can provide literacy and functional maths support for 15 hours per week - experience working with students with ASC strongly desired and applicants must have experience of Makaton .
Tutors must be able to commute to Ashford.
Hours: 15 hours per week: Monday-Friday, 10am-1pm.
Successful candidates will be provided with further information and guidelines on the Bright Heart Approach and relevant training for working with SEN students.

Candidates must also provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference.
Candidates who have lived / worked overseas in the last 5 years will also need to provide certain overseas checks, including a police certificate.

In addition, candidates should have: At least 12 months of relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK Excellent spoken and written English Strong subject knowledge in their tuition subject(s) University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels Passion for teaching and their tuition subject(s) SEN tuition/teaching experience and a passion for working with students with SEN Applying to Bright Heart: Please attach your CV and include a cover letter outlining your tuition experience, SEN experience and your motivation for applying to us, as well as your tutoring availability and the subjects and / or types of students you would like to tutor.
