Job Description Spares Coordinator \n to c£28k neg dep exp \n Telford \n Our client has been established for more than 60 years and are renowned internationally as market leaders in the provision of packaging solutions for a diverse range of sectors and applications, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth for 2025 and beyond, are now seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Spares Coordinator to complement their professional team.
\n Core responsibilities for this varied and challenging Telford based Spares Coordinator role will include (but not be limited to): \n \n Spare Parts Management - including order processing and managing customer orders for spare parts, whilst ensuring accurate order picking, packing and dispatch of parts to customers.
\n Maintaining and updating the spare parts inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking, and liaising with suppliers to order parts as required and monitor delivery schedules accordingly.
\n Sales and Customer Interaction - providing quotations for spare parts including pricing, lead times and availability and proactively identifying and pursuing spare parts sales opportunities with new and existing clients, developing strong relationships with customers by providing excellent support and after-sales service at all times.
\n Invoicing and Documentation - including the generation and management of sales invoices for spare parts orders and ensuring all documentation related to orders, shipping, and invoicing is accurate and up-to-date, and addressing any discrepancies or customer queries related to billing as they may arise.
\n Operational Coordination - including collaboration with internal departments such as engineering and logistics to meet customer needs, and monitoring and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to spare parts sales and delivery, whilst also identifying opportunities for process improvements in spare parts operations.
\n Customer Support - providing the highest levels of technical support and advice on spare parts to customers, ensuring compatibility and proper usage, and handling any customer complaints that may arise and resolving issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
\n \n It is envisaged that the successful candidate will demonstrate at least 2 years previous experience gained in an inventory management / spares coordinator position, ideally aligned to an engineering or technical manufacturing and distribution environment and demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels and a meticulous approach to detail.
