Job Overview: The Sous Chef plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.
As the second-in-command, the Sous Chef works closely with the Executive Chef to oversee food preparation, maintain kitchen standards, and ensure that dishes are executed flawlessly.
This role requires strong leadership, culinary skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure environments while maintaining creativity and quality.

Contract type: 45 hours per week.
Permanent.
Typical shift pattern is 1pm to 10pm.
What You'll Do: Work alongside our Head of Food and Beverage to bring exciting, seasonal menus to life Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during service and maintain high standards Manage inventory, ordering, and food prep with efficiency and precision Mentor and inspire junior staff, fostering a fun and energetic kitchen environment Help innovate new dishes, keeping our restaurant at the cutting edge of culinary trends To ensure that the highest Health & Safety levels and Food Hygiene levels are maintained constantly inside the kitchen.
To help to keep the stock and the wastage under control To undertake dealings with suppliers and commercial partners of the business regarding kitchen operations To check all inbound food deliveries to ensure consistency and quality of all items delivered for the kitchen operation.
To assist the Head Chef with specials planning, costing, daily GP% financial sheets, payroll, and all operations of the kitchen.
