Sous Chef

Sous Chef Location: Bathwick, Bath, Somerset, BA2 4EZ Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum Job Responsibilities: Assist in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook meals as per the menu and special requests while adhering to food safety standards.
Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and skill development.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and develop new recipes.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock rotation.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist with catering for events and private functions as required by the restaurant.
Handle any customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance guest satisfaction.
Participate in the scheduling of kitchen staff and workflow management.
Desired Experience: Candidates should have solid experience in a professional kitchen environment, showcasing knowledge of hospitality operations and a passion for culinary arts.
