Our Sourcing, IT Strategy & Corporate Services capability is looking for a Sourcing and Procurement Consultant. You will have the opportunity to:
Work on significant and complex sourcing challenges facing public and private sector organisations in the UK and internationally.Provide strategic advice on transforming organisations' sourcing teams and delivering complex procurements.Support clients to achieve their desired business outcomes by applying innovative approaches to sourcing and procurement.QualificationsExperience in strategic sourcing and/or procurement.Prior consulting experience is essential for more senior roles.Strong delivery experience on procurement/commercial and strategic sourcing projects.Expertise in navigating complex procurement processes within the Defence sector.Evidence of leading change initiatives in multifaceted stakeholder environments.Experience in managing supplier service delivery arrangements.A proven ability to think creatively and commercially to solve procurement challenges.Excellent interpersonal and team working skills for exceptional stakeholder management.Strong self-starter with excellent communication skills.CIPS, MCIPS, IACCM or equivalent sourcing qualifications are preferable.Prior consulting experience in a sourcing context is preferable.We know the skill-gap and 'somewhat need to tick every box' can get in the way of meeting brilliant candidates, so please don't hesitate to apply – we'd love to hear from you.
