Solutions Engineer Permanent Location: UK (travel within the UK approximately twice a month) As a Solutions Engineer (SE) at Inspera, your role is to work alongside the sales team as a primary knowledge resource responsible for delivering and managing the functional and technical aspects of all Inspera products during the sales process.
In doing so, you are an architect and advisor for your colleagues whereby you showcase Inspera products as solutions, and serve as an expert on all Inspera products and their use cases across the learning spectrum.
In the SE role, you are tasked with effectively communicating complex education and professional learning concepts to a variety of key stakeholders.
As a partner to our sales team, you will have the opportunity of creating market impact in the following ways: Purpose of the position: Present the Inspera ecosystem as a platform, through storytelling and technical deep dives, to a variety of education and corporate/government stakeholders in discovery, casual, and high-stakes scenarios Deliver high impact, tailored product demonstrations to prospects and customers by partnering with the sales rep or account manager in understanding and analyzing their goals and challenges, to increase their use of the platform and corresponding revenue Enabling and assisting sales team members in conducting small scale demos at an early stage of the sales process, as well as facilitating deeper discovery based on use case and product knowledge sharing Building internal knowledge of our customers and competitors for use across the business including in the product, proposal writers, and marketing divisions.
Assisting the Global Client Evangelist with product advocacy and marketing, building and fostering a client community, and generating strong sales enablement materials Track progress on product updates, new features and functionality, and in-flight projects through consistent record-keeping and knowledge sharing with the sales team Key Responsibilities & Duties: Develop a deep and thorough understanding of the Inspera products and services (current and planned) including: Assessment, Originality, and Proctoring.
Develop and enhance your ability to act as a bridge between academic terminology and processes on one side and technical language and solutions on the other Prepare and conduct well-structured and informative online or in-person product demonstrations which address and understand customer needs and how our products are the right solution to address them Conduct engaging demos for prospects and clients in their context, showing how best to maximize value from our products, as well as the values of Inspera as a partner Respond to internal inquiries on how best to use Inspera capabilities to maximize value through collaboration across the organization and its internal division.
Represent Inspera in online and on-site sales meetings, presentations, conferences and forums (some traveling is to be expected) Contribute to RFP / tender responses, utilizing your detailed product knowledge and understanding of how our customers and prospects conduct assessments and implement/leverage academic integrity tools (namely plagiarism and proctoring) Academic Qualifications: Undergraduate / Bachelor's degree Work Experience & Skills: Must have Articulate and compelling presentation skills (online and in-person) Proactive problem-solving and engineering solutions based on needs/use case/etc.
Organized, analytical, and solutions oriented skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Desirable but not essential (We will still consider your application without these but their existence will enhance your application) Background in technical sales, bid writing, sales consultancy or similar Proven project management skills Fluent and eloquent oral and writing skills in languages other than English Experience working in the Higher Education sector Understanding of academic practices and workflows including teaching, instructional design, and professional learning in both higher education and corporate/government sectors Experience using Ed Tech applications- SaaS, systems integration (LTIs, APIs,), other technologies (including HRISs, CRMs, SIS, LMS, etc.)
Location: While this role is remote, the candidate is required to live in the UK.
The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence that they have the legal right to live and work in the UK.

This role will support all time zones across the EMEA region.
reporting to the Global Client Evangelist out of London.
As this role covers a large region, there may be occasions where an online demo is outside of normal working hours.
The holder of this role is expected to work flexibly to accommodate these demos.
Furthermore, candidates must be willing to travel to on-site presentations and conferences/events throughout the year.
