An exciting new opportunity has arisen at a leading international law firm for a solutions consultant.
This is a permanent role based in Birmingham.
The main purpose is to drive the firm's innovation and growth through cutting-edge technology solutions and to lead the adoption and mastery of tools that elevate strategic goals.
The consultant will take charge of a critical segment of the solutions portfolio and champion their assigned solutions, ensuring they deliver transformative value.
Main Responsibilities: Leading the design, development and implementation of holistic, innovative technology solutions.
Developing and executing the legal technology strategy.
Participating at industry events and showcasing the firm's achievements in legal technology.
Driving the adoption of solutions and establishing root causes for poor solution uptake.
Maintaining and enhancing relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
Facilitating the maintenance and support strategy for home-grown solutions within a defined part of the solution.
Leading experimentation programmes to test new solutions.
Supporting the negotiation and management of contracts.
Monitoring the quality of products provided by vendors and reporting any issues.
Owning the roadmap for solutions within a defined part of the solutions portfolio.
Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of solutions.
Identifying and conducting early liaison with vendors that could advance the capabilities of a defined part of the solutions portfolio.
Main experience and skills required: A high level of proficiency and experience in using and leveraging the Microsoft PowerPlatform, as well as other relevant technologies, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management, artificial intelligence, e-discovery, knowledge management and data analytics.
A proven track record of driving and managing successful technology projects and initiatives, from ideation to implementation and evaluation.
Strong experience in legal technology, innovation or digital transformation, preferably in a law firm, legal technology provider or technology consulting practice.
A passionate vision for the role and impact of technology in the legal profession and the ability to promote and advocate for various audiences, both internally and externally.
A deep knowledge of a specific area of the legal technology landscape, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management or artificial intelligence.
To be considered for this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
It is also crucial that you are able to identify and implement innovative and effective technology solutions for the firm and its clients.
