GTS develops integrated and scalable solutions that align with long-term business strategies, ensuring they deliver commercial value and facilitate growth.
The Solution Architect is responsible for creating IT design solutions that meet business needs.
These solutions are developed in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture framework and the company's Technology Strategy and Roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities :
Define and publish solution design standards and patterns while overseeing technical design governance at a project or functional level.
Assess new technologies to determine their suitability for business and project needs, evaluating the design of external products.
Contribute to the Solution Design Community of Practice by researching emerging technologies and monitoring trends to refine capabilities and standards.
Ensure solution design complies with internal policies, technology strategies, and community practice guidelines.
Collaborate with business teams to create IT solutions that align with business strategies and requirements, providing insights into the application of innovative technologies.
Design IT solutions that are aligned with the Enterprise Architecture framework and the company's Technology Strategy.
Support the development, communication, and implementation of solution designs.
Conduct detailed technical reviews, coordinating efforts across internal teams and third-party partners to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Maintain adherence to solution designs throughout the delivery process, ensuring proper coordination and change control of technical specifications.
Articulate business and IT risks, weighing the pros and cons of various solution designs.
Work closely with project teams to mitigate risks, ensuring delivery success.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to internal and third-party teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in the development of concepts, feasibility studies, and business cases.
Recommend improvements and participate in activities related to the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture.

Experience :
Proven experience in IT solution design.
Experience across various IT functions, including systems analysis, development, and project management.
Understanding of industry best practices and their application in a business context.
Familiarity with multiple IT architecture disciplines, such as applications, infrastructure, data, or security, with practical experience in at least two.
Knowledge of the financial services industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
Experience working with large outsourcing suppliers.
Proven track record in developing strategies for large initiatives.
Experience standardizing and maintaining assurance practices in a multidisciplinary environment.
Experience in demand assessment, root cause analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.
