Solution Architect (Mid-Level)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Salary Range: £49,950 - £67,500 (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.
This is an exciting opportunity to design and implement innovative, high-impact solutions across a variety of sectors.
As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in translating complex business needs into scalable, sustainable technical designs.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture: Develop comprehensive architectural designs for complex systems, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external stakeholders to understand needs and propose effective solutions.
Technology Roadmap Development: Define and maintain a strategic roadmap to enhance system capabilities and introduce new technologies.
System Integration: Design robust integration strategies that ensure seamless operation across diverse platforms.
Implementation Oversight: Guide development teams to ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet internal security standards and comply with regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for solution designs and architectural principles.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure the resilience and reliability of proposed solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
3+ years in a Solution Architect or similar role, with expertise in software design and system integration.
Proven ability to design complex enterprise-level solutions across multiple technologies and platforms.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
Effective project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
Experience with Agile methodologies and security frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST).
