At BCN, we achieve success through collective effort!Focus of the role:As a pre-sales Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our SMB & SMC clients.
You will work closely with the sales team, the technical transformation team, and the vendors to understand the client's requirements, propose appropriate solutions, and plan the project delivery.
You must be both commercial/technical and have the ability to build rapport with key customers and internally.Responsibilities:Engage with clients and prospects to understand their business objectives, challenges, and needs.Recommend and design suitable technical solutions that align with the client's goals and budget, using Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365 technologies.Create high-level designs and supporting diagrams that illustrate the proposed solution and communicate the benefits and value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.Provide oversite to project delivery in an escalation capacity, ensuring that the solution is implemented according to the agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards.Conduct technical discovery audits, assessments, and reviews of existing client infrastructures and suggest improvements and best practices.Work with vendors and technology market leaders to stay updated on the latest trends and innovations and introduce new solutions that can enhance our service offerings and client satisfaction.Produce and maintain productization sales enablement material.
Work with the rest of the presales/solutions/technical transformation leadership team to establish and maintain the standards and methodologies for delivering technical solutions.Person, Skills & Experience:Strong background in end-to-end project delivery with a strong understanding of network and infrastructure concepts, virtualisation, and Microsoft public cloud platforms such as Azure & Microsoft 365.High level Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Azure Landing Zones.Identity & Microsoft Security knowledge desirable, Defender, Entra ID & PurviewExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present, draw, and communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Confident and professional communicator, capable of hosting customer workshops, training sessions, and meetings alongside account managers.Strong documentation and technical handover skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise scope of works, proposals, and reports.Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.Experience in a similar role, ideally within another MSP or IT service provider.A passion for technology and the use of technology to solve business problems and create value.The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.An intelligent, analytical, and pragmatic approach to problem-solvingOutstanding customer service skills and a customer-centric mindset.Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.Why BCN?The opportunity to shape your own future with industry leading training and development, with access to our BCN AcademyCompetitive salary and the ability to progressEnhanced holiday allowance increasing with length of service, plus bank holidays, we even give you the day off if you're working to celebrate your birthdayDid we mention holidays?
