Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Solutions Architect for a 6 month contract.
You will provide solution/technology design oversight, design quality assurance, and advice to ensure compliance of projects and programmes (and services) to architectural standards and roadmaps, resolving or escalating potential non-compliance issues.
Roles and Responsibilities: Effectively communicate IT architectures and roadmaps, translating complex technical architectures and strategies into understandable and actionable items for the various stakeholders.Provide solution/technology design oversight, design quality assurance, and advice to ensure compliance of projects and programmes (and services) to architectural standards and roadmaps, resolving or escalating potential non-compliance issues.Develop innovative solution architectures that are cohesive, fit for purpose, and ensure cost-effective delivery (and OpEx) of Technology strategy and business priorities.Provide technical advisory and consulting to business departments, projects, and external stakeholders including third-party support providers.Skills & Experience: Desirable: Experience of airport baggage processes, systems and information, or experience within Rail, construction, or utilities.Demonstrate sound decision making when dealing with a major outsource supplier.Working Arrangement: Hybrid working: up to 3 days a week in the office.
