Solution Architect, Technology

Location: Northampton (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £75,000 (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the evolution of our digital landscape.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and manage change projects that align with strategic business goals while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Design and develop solutions that evolve with business needs, adhering to modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling.
Design solutions using APIs, Microservices, ETL processes, workflow management tools, and database schemas based on established architecture principles.
Analyze complex data from multiple sources and collaborate across teams to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Guide technical workshops and mentor development teams, ensuring the overall quality, scalability, and successful implementation of solutions.
Contribute to fault-finding, performance issue support, and project change cost estimations.
Foster best practices in security, resiliency, and risk management.

Expertise in solution design and architecture, focusing on balancing technology risks with business delivery.
Strong background in the financial services industry, with preference for experience in business or corporate banking.
Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies.
Ability to guide and influence teams to deliver high-quality solutions while managing risk and maintaining operational excellence.
