We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the evolution of our digital landscape. This role offers the opportunity to shape and manage change projects that align with strategic business goals while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop solutions that evolve with business needs, adhering to modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling. Design solutions using APIs, Microservices, ETL processes, workflow management tools, and database schemas based on established architecture principles. Lead the development of architecture inputs, ensuring compliance with governance processes related to architecture, privacy, security, and records management. Analyze complex data from multiple sources and collaborate across teams to solve problems creatively and effectively. Guide technical workshops and mentor development teams, ensuring the overall quality, scalability, and successful implementation of solutions. Contribute to fault-finding, performance issue support, and project change cost estimations. Foster best practices in security, resiliency, and risk management. Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in designing and developing scalable solutions, incorporating cloud capabilities (e.g., elasticity, serverless, containerization). Expertise in solution design and architecture, focusing on balancing technology risks with business delivery. Strong background in the financial services industry, with preference for experience in business or corporate banking. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions. Experience in leading and advising teams, and influencing decision-making in complex environments. Ideal Candidate:
Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, microservices, APIs, and cloud technologies. Experience with governance processes and compliance frameworks. Ability to guide and influence teams to deliver high-quality solutions while managing risk and maintaining operational excellence.
