Solution Architect

Harvey Nash are now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Solution Architect, a six month contract working for an energy company in Scotland.
Daily rate of £700 - £750 a day Umbrella only Hybrid working between Perth, Aberdeen or Glasgow (which ever is closest to the contractor) 2 - 3 days a week onsite Experienced Solution Architect required to define the digital technology that will support the delivery of a joint venture programme with an external organisation on construction projects.
Typical responsibilities will be: Building out the system model Developing capability and system roadmaps Guiding solution delivery and supporting planning for solution delivery.
The role is a general solution architect with a focus on applications, data, security and operational viewpoints, rather than a technical or infrastructure specialist.
Experience Required: A background in a solution development or delivery role Experience of both agile and waterfall delivery methods, and an understanding of the priorities and challenges across the full system lifecycle.
A structured and methodical approach (e.g.
TOGAF) to solutioning.
Able to lead discussions and influence stakeholders who are used to operating with less structured approaches.
