As a Software Engineering Manager, you'd still do some hands-on technical work but would ultimately be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members with a constant focus on making things better.

You'd be working alongside product owners, user researchers and designers and would be expected to champion modern engineering practices like TDD, Pair Programming and CI/CD.
