We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer .NET (Cloud) to join our dynamic growing R&D team.
The role As Software Engineer .NET (Cloud) you will be responsible for developing software applications targeting a range of platforms and devices.
You will be working towards a shared vision and will help to shape the future roadmap of Blatchford's Digital Health Strategy.
Key duties: Writing high quality, secure software that will perform at scale, easy to test and maintain Supporting peers by taking part in code reviews, helping each other to develop the best possible software solutions Working across the full software development lifecycle, including architecture and design as well as supporting the setup and management of the formal development process for medical device Working within a modern Devops environment, following the processes and workflows setup by the team, ensuring a secure and efficient development process is adhered to.
What are we looking for?
Key skills Software Engineering or relevant Computer Science related degree Highly proficient in writing clean, readable, and secure code for web and API-driven applications using modern application development techniques Strong skills in any .NET language (e.g.
C#) Proficient in ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core framework Familiarity with RDBMS systems (SQL Server) Experience in HTML5/CSS/SASS/ Bootstrap or similar Understanding of Design/Architectural Patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc) Experience of Agile development methodologies Experience of TDD Experience working in an Agile Development team utilising Devops approaches.
Understanding of REST API standards Good understanding of Service Oriented architecture and approaches to data integration and serverless application development e.g.
