The specific department and responsibilities of a software engineer may differ.
The role will involve:Conducting technical analysis, specification, and estimationDesigning, developing, implementing, and supporting software solutionsCollaborating with business users, third parties, and GTIS colleagues as neededHow you'll help us make health happen:You will serve as the technical authority within your domain, whether it is application or technology specific.
Your responsibilities will include:Assessing and validating technical solutions, designs, and proofs of concept to ensure they are fit for purpose.Developing and adhering to application delivery design standards, development methodologies, and strategic architecture frameworks.Providing input to Infrastructure Design teams regarding overall solution design.Ensuring the quality of all deliverables related to software within your domain.Staying current with emerging technologies and seeking ways to integrate them for the benefit of the business.Understanding business objectives and continuously seeking ways to improve operations, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Experience in multiple service delivery functions, including development, support, software design, or environment configuration.
