In order to succeed in and enjoy this role, you will either be working with Azure tools already or have an established background in Microsoft SQL database technologies and be excited about transitioning these skills to the cloud.
Confidence with designing and developing data driven c# .net applications such as data driven dashboards, data processing applications, secure data access tools.
Experience integrating data driven applications with different data sources, for example: o SQL Databases o Document Databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB etc) o Parquet Experience of taking different business applications and use cases and supporting their needs (query patterns etc) within appropriate data solutions, whilst maintaining data integrity and provenance.
Comfortable dealing with large volumes of data, generally time series and numeric data.
Understanding and experience of provisioning APIs for data consumption.
Experience or familiarity with web based data visualization tools such as HighCharts, as well AngularJS front ends would be beneficial but not required.
o BI visualisation tools such as Power BI or similar o Exposure to R, or Python o Microsoft Power Apps o Modelling and data science practices
