Software Engineer

We're currently recruiting a Software Engineer for our client who operate as a tech consultancy in the South of England.
You will be supporting the development, integration, rollout and support of complex solutions for their clients within defence, space manufacturing and the public sector.
This is a hybrid position, which includes travelling to the office in the Milton Keynes area on a weekly basis, as well as very occasional client visits within the Wiltshire area.
Due to the sensitive nature of their work, candidates must be able to undergo SC clearance; having worked in the UK for 5+ years and holding British Citizenship.

Responsibilities: Hands on Application Design Specifying, designing, building, and testing complex full-stack software solutions Designing and developing APIs Working with both Linux and Microsoft environments Deploying software solutions both within the company and for various clients Working with different software paradigms and languages Requirements: Expertise in at least two backend languages, ideally Java and Python Experience in vanilla JavaScript and front-end technologies, ideally React.
Exposure to DevOps environments Containerisation experience using Docker API integration and documentation experience Ideally Security Cleared, if not then willing to undertake SC clearance What's on Offer: Salaries up to £60k (mid-level) and £70k (senior).
